Last week our Year 11 BTEC Dance students had the privilege of taking part in a full day workshop with talented choreographer Mel Simpson. Taking place here at school, this workshop offered our dancers the unique opportunity to learn from one of the industry's best.

Mel Simpson, known for her innovative choreography and dynamic teaching style, coached the girls to create a brilliant repertoire for their upcoming final BTEC Dance Assessment, from Big God, choreographed by Akram Khan. Students were challenged to learn such a technically difficult piece but the results are utterly amazing.
