No Kitchen Nightmares Here!

Gordon Ramsay would have been impressed last Friday evening, as some of our Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students ran an incredible Pop Up Restaurant in The Observatory and served 45 paying customers.
It was a great opportunity to use the professional equipment in the industrial kitchen, and learn some super practical skills from our Head Chef, Bela.
All students who took part were involved in the preparation of the meal. Then our Kitchen Brigade were responsible for cooking and plating 45 main courses and 45 desserts – followed by the clean down of the kitchen. Our Front of House team had to prepare the tables and room, welcome the guests upon arrival, show them to their seats, take their coats, serve drinks and food then clear the tables after the meal.
It was a brilliant evening and the food was fantastic!
We plan to run another one so keep a look out for an invitation.
