End of Year Assessments, Summer 2024
This year we are holding our End of Year Assessments over the same three days from Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 June, for all year groups.
On those days students will only have assessments, there will be no normal lessons.
Refer to your Year Group’s specific Assessment Timetable, above.
Please note:
- The timings of the day have changed - please make sure that your young person understands how these three days will differ to their normal routine.
- On Monday 3 June and Tuesday 4 June their tutors will tell them which rooms they will be sitting each exam in.
- Students will not have registration with their tutors on the assessment days. They need to plan to arrive at school in time to allow them to be at the door of their first exam at the right time, just as they will when they are taking GCSE exams in years 10 and 11.
- Your young person needs to come to school in uniform and bring their usual equipment.
- After-School Clubs will go ahead on these three days for 7s, 8s and 9s at the earlier time of 2.10 once students are dismissed from their exam. There will not be After-School Clubs for the 10s on those days.

Replacement Certificates
If you have lost your exam certificates, you will need to contact the exam boards directly for replacements. If you are unsure which boards you sat your exams with, please contact Mr David our Exams Officer, who can provide the correct details, jdavid@carringtonschool.org.
