While most of us were enjoying a Bank Holiday lie-in, nine members of staff arrived at school at dawn to welcome 82 excited Year 7s ready to set off on their first residential trip of secondary school to Bude in Cornwall.

The sun was shining for their arrival and after unpacking and soaking up some sun, the group enjoyed an evening of karaoke. 

Tuesday saw the groups start their activity schedule with body boarding, obstacle courses and kayaking on the menu, closing the day out with a fancy dress disco!

The rest of the week involved climbing, mountain boarding, team trail and high ropes to name just a few.
