8s Building Bridges

On Tuesday our Year 8s had a presentation from Gatwick Airport employees discussing careers at Gatwick airport. Following the presentation, classes attended workshops run by engineers where they took part in a bridge building exercise.
Students had a great time building bridges that had to fit the defined gap and withstand the weight of various items. The record was 48 text books!!
