This week saw our Year 7s spend time Bonding, with plenty of opportunities for all our new students to get to know each other and their tutors. 

For the off-site Bonding Day, tutor groups started with a walk to Mercers Lake in Merstham where they then took part in water sports such as kayaking, sail boating, paddle boarding and also had a chance to go on a motorised boat. There were also team building activities where the students got to know one another better.  

Students really pushed themselves out of their comfort zones, achieving things they didn't know they had in them! 

The rest of the week off-timetable saw students spending time in Forest School, Farm Club, learning how to access Arbor and school emails. There were also 'You Are Awesome' sessions which aim to help students be the best version of themselves, realise their potential and to build confidence.

By the end of this week we hope our Year 7s will have made connections with new friends that we hope will support them for years to come.
