Celebrating Our Sporting Stars

Last night students from all our sporting teams came together at Old Reigatians Rugby Club to celebrate their sporting achievements over the last year.
There were badges for everyone that takes part in a team and awards for Aspire, Respect and Innovate as well as Team of the Year, Young Sports Person of the Year and Sports Person of the Year; and we couldn't forget the much coveted Coach of the Year Award!
A special treat was the appearance of Lexi Potter, former Carrington Student and English professional footballer who plays for Crystal Palace (on loan from Chelsea) and the England U19 team. Lexi gave a really great Q&A session with Mr Lockhart and then stayed to hand out our AIR awards and have photos taken with students.
The evening had a real buzz and students were all thrilled to be there to support their friends and team mates.

Team of the Year - Year 11 Basketball (2nd place Year 9 Girls Football, 3rd place Year 10 Netball)
Young Sports Person of the Year - Georgie Young
Sports Person of the Year - Isla Shaw
Aspire - Maysoon Raache
Respect - Will Daniells
Innovate - Neve Macgregor
Coach of the Year - Mr Barker
