Christmas Has Come to Carrington!

20th December 2024

It's the last week of term and we kicked off the festive season with our Year 7 reward event on Wednesday; a Christmas film at The Light. Students watched an afternoon performance of Home Alone and all left feeling very festive!

Thursday marked 'Christmas Day' at school, where everyone joined in the festivities by wearing Christmas jumpers and enjoying a delicious Christmas lunch together that really put us in the Christmas spirit.

Beyond the festive fun, on the last day of term, we also embraced the season of giving by collecting food donations for the Loveworks Foodbank and cash for Sparkfish. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students and families, we delivered a wonderful selection of tins and treats to those in need. Your contributions make a real difference, and we sincerely thank you for your support.

For those who want to continue helping, you can find more information or check Loveworks' priority list by visiting their website HERE and you can donate to Sparkfish HERE.

We ended the term with a whole school assembly where the Attendance Challenge draw took place and the Ad Astra raffle was drawn, with the grand prize of two tickets to see Wicked in London going to Kegan Cox!

We wish everyone a joyful and festive season!
