Christmas at Carrington

20th December 2023

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Carrington!

On Thursday, to kick off the celebrations, we had a visit from a very special guest, FATHER CHRISTMAS!! Students were able to visit Father Christmas to collect a lolly, and hopefully check if they’re on the nice list this year!

Thursday also saw the whole of Year 7 take a trip to the Big Top to see the Harlequin Panto, Beauty and the Beast. Oh yes they did! The show was fantastic and all the students had an amazing time.

On Tuesday it was 'Christmas Day' here at school. Everyone was invited to wear their own clothes with a festive twist. It was a very festive effort made by everyone; we didn’t quite see anyone go ‘full elf’ but Mrs Claus did make an appearance! The festivities didn’t end there though, as we were all able to enjoy a Christmas lunch together which was delicious and put us in the Christmas mood!

It wasn’t all festive fun though, as we were also collecting donations for Loveworks Foodbank who so desperately need donations at this time of year for those who are less fortunate. Once again our students really pulled it out the bag and we were able to take a great selection of tins and treats to the Loveworks warehouse. We really do thank you all for your donations. If you would like to find out more, or see Loveworks' priority list, please visit their website HERE
