A group of 12 Year 8s took part in the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Faraday Games last week.

These activity days covering Science, Design and Technology, Engineering and Mathematics take place every year at the Gatwick STEM Centre and winning teams win a trophy for their school and a place on the national league table. 

Students had the opportunity to research, design and make solutions to real-life engineering problems - well done to everyone who took part; certificates have been awarded to them all for their excellent participation.
