DT Students Take on Paris!

Last week, a group of excited Design & Technology students set off on an unforgettable adventure to Paris! With suitcases packed and snacks at the ready, they boarded the coach for a long but laughter-filled journey to the French capital.

Upon arrival, the first stop was the iconic Eiffel Tower. Students took in the breathtaking views, snapped plenty of selfies, and enjoyed the incredible architecture. Seeing the tower up close was a true inspiration - after all, what better way to appreciate design and engineering than by standing beneath one of the world’s most famous structures?

The excitement didn’t stop there! The group then headed to Disneyland Paris, where they enjoyed a mix of educational and thrilling experiences. As part of the trip, students attended seminars within the Disney Parks, gaining insight into the design, engineering, and technology behind the magic. From animatronics to set design, they got a behind-the-scenes look at how creativity and innovation come together to bring Disney’s world-famous attractions to life.

Of course, it wasn’t all work and no play! The students also had plenty of free time to explore the parks, experience the rides, and meet their favourite characters. Whether they were plunging down roller coasters, watching dazzling parades, or indulging in delicious French treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
