During the term our Year 9 Tutor Groups spent their Excellence Programme sessions researching and working to raise awareness of a selection of charities, as part of the First Give initiative which promotes the development of social conscience among young people. Our students work through the term culminated in a competitive presentation event where a panel of judges selected a winning group.

The Carrington winner was 9 Barrow and their chosen charity - Us in a Bus - received £1000.
