GCSE Science Live 2025

On Monday, a group of Year 10 students hopped on a train to Brighton to attend the highly anticipated GCSE Science Live event at the Brighton Dome. The trip was a fantastic opportunity for them to gain insight from some of the country’s top scientists and pick up valuable exam tips along the way.

The event featured a lineup of renowned scientists, each delivering fascinating talks on a range of topic - from space exploration to cutting-edge medical advancements. One of the highlights was a talk by Professor Jim Al-Khalili, who captivated the audience with his enthusiasm for physics and the mysteries of the universe. Another standout speaker was Dr. Hannah Critchlow, who explored the wonders of the human brain and how science can shape the future.

In addition to the exciting lectures, an experienced GCSE examiner provided some golden exam advice, offering students useful strategies for tackling tricky questions and boosting their grades. Many students found this especially helpful as they gear up for their exams next year.
