On Wednesday last week we had a surprise visit from the very lovely Catherine Hazell, the Supplier Operations Manager at Heathrow Airport Ltd, with a car boot FULL of brand new safety goggles to donate to our Science and DT departments! The 900 goggles will be put to great use replacing old and scratched ones, and should keep us in shiny new googles for some time to come.

Catherine shared a couple of interesting facts about Heathrow: they have a colony of bees making Heathrow honey as well as a Biomass that burns wood-chip, creating sustainable heat for water and electricity.
