Goodbye to Our Year 11s!
16th May 2022
The 11s had their final day of timetabled lessons on Friday 16 May, and we celebrated the end of their 5-years in Secondary Education with a special Guard of Honour of our own fashion!
Students assembled at the new Reception and made their way to their last Year Group Assembly via a phalanx of teachers and staff members cheering and applauding them along the corridor, through a balloon archway, and down the stairs to the Hall.
There, Mr Smith and Ms Manzoor lead the last Assembly looking back on a particularly unique set of years through the pandemic, showing some excellent nostalgic photographs of these students when they were just beginning with us as small Warwick students. These pictures brought home to all of us just exactly how far these young people have come in those years.
Mrs Heard, their Hub Coordinator, was emotional as she wished them well, along with special messages for the future from Miss Oakley, Mr Lockhart and Mrs Maddox.
