Year 11 GCSE English students had the chance to witness a dramatic and unforgettable stage performance of Jekyll & Hyde at the New Wimbledon Theatre! With two trips scheduled, one for a matinee and another for an evening performance, students had the perfect opportunity to see literature come to life in an exciting and engaging way.

Both performances were packed with students from schools across the region, creating an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere in the theatre. The gripping tale of Dr Jekyll and his dark alter ego, Mr Hyde, kept everyone on the edge of their seats with its intense scenes, powerful acting, and dramatic set design.

Students even joined a special Q&A session with the actors after the show where they had the opportunity to talk about some of the important themes in the set text. This was a fantastic learning experience that gave everyone a deeper appreciation for both the play and the world of theatre.
