On the last day of term, the Main Hall was filled with excitement as the Year 7 Choir of the Year competition took centre stage. This much-anticipated event saw tutor groups going head-to-head in a musical showdown, with all performances themed around Music from the Movies.

The energy was electric as the hall echoed with classics from beloved films, ranging from Disney ballads to James Bond theme tunes. Each tutor group brought their own unique flair, incorporating costumes, choreography, and an abundance of enthusiasm.

All tutor groups displayed an impressive amount of talent and teamwork but the bragging rights belonged to 7 Darwin, whose spirited rendition of I’m a Believer from Shrek stole the show. Their performance was a perfect blend of humor, harmony, and infectious energy. The judges praised their stage presence and creativity, declaring them the winners of the competition.
