Ready... Steady... Cook!

This evening, some of our Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students ran an amazing Pop Up Restaurant in The Observatory, serving 45 paying customers. It was a super opportunity for students to use the professional kitchen equipment, and learn from our Head Chef, Gabor.

All students who took part were involved in the preparation of the meal yesterday evening. Then our Kitchen Brigade tonight were responsible for cooking and plating all the main courses and desserts. Our Front of House team had to prepare the tables and room, welcome the guests upon arrival, show them to their seats, take their coats and serve drinks and food. And it still wasn’t over; as I type, they are clearing down the tables and cleaning the kitchen!

The whole evening was a huge success, and in the words of Greg Wallace, "My tastebuds are boogying with each other right now."
