Root-ing for the Future
29th November 2022
A group of eco-conscious year 7s got their hands dirty digging holes and planting 45 baby trees this week, in National Tree Week. A combination of Hazels, Rowans, Crab Apples and Wild Cherries were donated to us by Leatherhead-based company CGI, and the Woodland Trust.
We are excited to watch these little trees grow over the next five years leaving them to flourish into the future for generations to come, creating lasting benefits for the school community.
A big thank you to Dr John Chenery from CGI and well done to all of the Year 7 students who were involved.
