Sunshine & Sport

In the last week of the Summer term the whole school came together to enjoy a day in the sunshine for Sports Day.

We spent the morning taking part in 'Sports for All' which included some more creative activities such as welly throwing and the much-loved Tug-of-War where a staff team took on a student team. And only just managed to win!

The afternoon involved a variety of track and field events, including sprints, long-distance running and relay races. Mrs Evans concentrated fiercely on compiling the results, and Mr Lockhart MC'd the proceedings throughout the afternoon, interviewing winning students as they completed their events.

Students competed for their house and the overall winners of the day were Austen - well done!
